Spotlight: The Best Of Recent Swanbuild Homes

Often it feels as though every season is peak season at Swanbuild. We have been busy at both locations, completing homes for our long list of clients. Our two sites enable us to serve more satisfied clients than ever before, while our factory-based construction model works to reduce the overall build time and cuts down on wastage and costs of each new home we build. Our Bendigo factory recently celebrated the opening of our new Benalla 22 display home. We aim to complete construction on even more display homes this year, with an Eden 17 being constructed in Bendigo and a Sandhurst 25 slated for completion in late 2023 at our Swan Hill location. These new display homes will give you even more examples of quality Swanbuild construction and design. Beyond our display homes, we also like to share with you some of our recently completed homes for our clients. Read below, and let us take you through some of the design highlights. 

Decks

The great Australian dream is a slice of land to call home and a deck to enjoy the warmer weather. At Swanbuild, we know how vital a functional outdoor area is to our customers. We live in one of the world's sunniest, warmest countries, and homes with good indoor-outdoor flow are what our customers are looking for. We've highlighted one of the best decks recently built by Swanbuild to spark your imagination and inspire your home-building journey. 

Benalla 19

A wonderful rear deck we've recently completed. The deck of this Benalla 19 is perfect for entertaining as the alfresco dining area is directly off the shared meals, kitchen and family areas. Accessed through grand double doors, the naturally oiled Merbau decking on the Benalla 19 is one of its most notable features. This decking features a timber balustrade and timber fretwork to accent the classic country styling of the Benalla 19 design. 

Kitchen + Living 

The absolute heart of most homes is the kitchen and living area. Often these rooms have to pull double duty, not just as a place to prepare meals but also as a place to relax and entertain. Below is an example of one of the best kitchen and living areas we've created recently for our lucky clients in Castlemaine

Somerset 13

Taking advantage of the considerably high raked ceilings with numerous windows, the kitchen and main living areas in this Amended Somerset 13 design is something dreams are made of. The modern contrasting colour of the kitchen evokes the colour scheme of the Australian bush. The hanging pendant lights both delineate the space from the kitchen to the living area and emphasise the vertical height of the raked ceiling. Our clients are also thrilled with their full-sized walk-in pantry and abundant storage space in the kitchen island. 

Bedrooms 

While it sometimes can be hard to distinguish one bedroom design from another, at Swanbuild, we're passionate about delivering rooms that impress while also being comfortable and functional. 

Benalla 19

These recently completed bedrooms from a new Swanbuild home in Beech Forrest continued the solid timber flooring from the living areas and extended it throughout the bedrooms. The flooring gives the classic country house feel to the rooms, and the ceiling fans and multiple windows mean these rooms will maximise the amount of natural light they receive while maintaining comfortable temperatures year-round.
