When planning out your dream design, keep these tips in mind from the start so you don’t feel like you have to make too many compromises along the way.  **1. Embrace an Open Floor Plan** Look for a home design that combines kitchen, living, and dining space. Group Rooms of Similar Function Together** Grouping similar rooms together is an effective way to minimise hall space and maximise the area that you have to work with.
