Have you considered: powerpoints for handheld vacuum charging; a drying cupboard or room to discreetly dry clothes in the winter months; a hanging rail above your bench for drying or hanging shirts whilst ironing; an indoor fold up or pull out clothesline to eliminate drying racks throughout the home; and an ironing station?
