Scandi Is Here To Stay
The functionality, clean lines, natural woods and neutral colours epitomising the Scandi aesthetic are going nowhere. The Scandi look can be achieved with exposed timber beams and neutral colours. Focusing on functionality and beauty, the Scandi trend is also about how you use your home, while keeping that organised, geometric look - so think built-in shelving for function, large windows for light and soft furnishings for comfort.
Features Walls Are BACK
Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms or hallways; while the overall trend for walls remains neutral in white creams and beige, the feature wall has returned. More manageable than painting your entire house, a feature wall is a quick and effective way of creating mood and giving rooms in your home a bold new look. Stick to deep jewel tones that make an impact, and don't be afraid to go dark; a dark wall can make your home feel larger.
Stripes
Thick stripes in dual tones are coming IN, complementing the maximalism that's also coming back for 2024. You can get on the stripe trend in easy-to-achieve ways, like throw rugs, pillows and curtains, or go all out with striped wallpaper or carpeting.
